Kraków-Balice Airport is an international airport located about 11 km from the center of Kraków. It is the second largest airport in Poland, after the airport in Warsaw.

How to get to the airport by car?
To drive to the Krakow airport by car:
- head south from the city center towards the A4 motorway. On the motorway, drive east towards Katowice, and then exit the motorway at the "Kraków Balice" junction.
- after exiting the motorway, head east towards the airport, which is clearly signposted. The entrance to the airport is located on the north side.
During rush hours, high traffic can affect the journey to the airport. Therefore, it's advisable to plan the travel time in advance and set off earlier to avoid unnecessary stress.
Where to park near the airport?
There are two car parks at the Kraków-Balice airport: P1 parking and P2 parking.
P1 parking is a multi-level car park located near the passenger terminal, offering 2,600 parking spaces. P2 parking is a ground-level car park, situated about 1 km from the passenger terminal, offering 3,500 parking spaces. Both car parks have premium spaces available, which are more expensive, but allow for quicker entry and exit, as well as easier finding of a free parking space.
In case of wishing to park the car for an extended period, it is advisable to make a parking space reservation in advance, which will save time and money.
